Since the 30th of September 2022, BOPI, in which the decisions of the INPI regarding designs and the CEO decisions are published, is available on DATA INPI. This new format enables you to refine your searches, have access to more complete information and use various features.
New ! Since the 10th November 2023, the decisions of the INPI for trademarks and geographical indications are published on DATA INPI.
Good to know : the BOPIs not available on DATA INPI and patent publications are in PDF format on inpi.fr
Created in 1951, the INPI is the heir of various bodies which preceded it since the end of the 18th century for the protection of innovations.
It is also one of the rare public establishments to have responsibility for the conservation of its historical archives, responsibility and privilege at the same time.
